experimentation2

-re did the titles and used the font I made out of triangles ^-^

-english names

-Could colour the origami (tableware) bowls, plates, cups etc. by the corresponding season.
-Could put numbers on tableware to reference booklets (taboos, food)

-tried printing numbers on origami tableware.
-number will relate to a taboo and some tableware info from booklets/brochure thing

-stuck the paper to see where to put the number on teapot.

-made a mini version because I didn't have big enough paper to make the full size.

-printed in colours of seasons

Logo experiments
-tried adding a origami feel to both text and image
-not sure what colours
-still looks kinda weird, probably still needs more simplifying
-any suggestions? and have a try yourself as well at making a logo

not sure how the layout looks at the moment, and how the info will fit. i feel like i can make the icons smaller since it will be printed on an a3 paper. what do you think? how the layout should be?
I quite like how we have the taboo on the outside of the bowl, and the tip in the inside (in terms of interaction). or do you think the number system will work better? could possibly have a number next to the tip (so they can refer back to the pamphlet?)

did some rough logos. they arent super refined. just playing around with composition.

quite like this one: (left)

------

I like the idea of using chopsticks somewhere in the logo.
-tried experimenting with where to put them.
-sort of tried to place chopsticks so they could look like mountains, water or air.

copy and pasted the layout you did. Also I think it would be good to add some japanese words aswell and maybe like a little blurb of info if it fits. If it can't we can just make a smaller book that can go inside the brochure.

what layout do you like better?
this one is aligned with the content inside.
the one below it is aligned all the same way.

going to put the english titles below it!

just need to put info about each food. hopefully it fits. also need the illustrations you drew (flowers etc) ^_^ Looks a little cramp right now but I think we can reduce all the sizes since it's going to be printed on a3.

title aligned with the content inside

created some more white space.
